Great day riding to southern Ohio
We got up early but did not leave until 7:00, went thru Mechanicsburg to London, avoiding 38 because of the chip and seal.  From London we took 56 to Mt. Sterling  and picked up 207 which took us to Chillicothe where we got on 104 then a small rd 3 Lock or something like that and then to 335.  That was my favorite part of the trip(3 Lock and 335)  constant hills and curves.  So much fun.  We got to the farm, to look at machinery,  about 9:20 and did not leave until 11:20.  I am thankful I have a camping chair on the back of my bike now a days, so I sat and read most of the time.  It was a cloudy, fall looking day so it was not to hot to just sit there between the bikes.  The farmer, Jason was a young, good looking man that has a large farm and no one to share it with.  He is devoriced and has no children.  Kinda feel for the guy.  He seemed very nice and content though.
When we left there we took more back hilly roads over to Peebles and ate at a nice little place called The Village Inn.  I really like the small dinners.  Everyone seemed to know each other.  When we left there we headed north on 41 which took us to 73.  We stopped on the way to see where I use to live many years ago.  Was back a long lane and the trees are hiding the house.  We did not go back but we drove around the grave yard that was right across the street.  Maybe that is why I have a thing for grave yards.
We went through Locust Grove.  I would have liked to stop but Paul just kept going, he seemed to be in a hurry.  We turned at 73 and took it north till we came to Serpant Mound.  We walked around there and I took some pictures. Then back on the bikes and up to Hillsboro on 73, caught 62 to Washington Courthouse, then 38 to London and then home.  In London we stoped for an Ice cream.  We landed in the garage about 6:00. Was 287 miles.  Great Day!!!!
